Someone who understands

Grief can begin long before a dog dies. You can speak openly about what this moment means to you and trust that you will be met with care.

My understanding comes from both training and lived experience. I have loved and lost two dogs, Shep and Bella. Bella, the big white dog who walked beside me through the life of this business, shaped my work and inspired it every day. Shep, who came before her, is no less an inspiration. He has lived in my heart for years, and Bella now lives there too.

My training includes certification as a Pet Loss Grief Companion, Grief Educator and Master Grief Coach. Together, that experience has taught me how to enter this space without rushing you, minimizing what is happening or asking you to perform your grief for the camera.

My job is to ease the photography part so you can remain with your dog.

The Ever After experience

From our first conversation to artwork in your hands, I’ll guide you through the whole process.

1. Contact

Once you’ve decided I’m the photographer to honor your years together, text, call or email me.

2. Plan

We chat and select a time and place where your dog can feel safe, comfortable and completely themselves.

3. The Session

We move at your dog’s pace, making space for laughter, tears and all the quiet ways you love each other.

4. Gallery Reveal

We look through your finished photographs together and choose the images and artwork that mean the most to you.

5. Artwork Delivery

Your digital images are prepared with care, and your finished artwork is ready to take its place in your home.
